Future Africa Web Cams
Assuming the success of our first web cams, other locations are under consideration.
These include the white and black rhino (Hluhluwe and Umfolosi), various bird sites and the Durban surfing beaches.
Perhaps even, in due course, web cams focusing on 'old four legs', the Coelocanth fish with embroyonic feet, that is increasing being found by deep-sea divers off the coast of KwaZulu Natal. The coelocanth was previously thought to have been extinct for a million years.

More about Africa Web Cams
The Africa Web Cams are located at a 'hide' overlooking a waterhole in the Tembe Elephant Park.
The advantage of a waterhole location is the (only relative) predictability that elephants will come to the waterhole to drink and enjoy mudbaths.
But the elephants will NOT be there all the time. The herds range over a park of hundreds of square kilometres. Some patience IS required!
The Africa Web Cams are powered by solar panels. Images are transmitted to Internet servers by satellite.
